Right, so I mentioned Way Back When that in the Dragon Ball universe Priss would totally be a Saiyan somehow (crazy strong! fireballs things! yay for fighting!), but like how would that work? I'm not really up to date on a lot of the current stuff so ehhh...? But anyway! What I figure is that she would've been some low-class as hell baby that got sent off to conquer some random planet, as one does. It was probably way back, possibly before any of the main characters were born even. They wouldn't know about her regardless, because why would they?
So off she goes in some pod to whatever backwater planet. Something happens, maybe a comet or something, and the pod gets knocked off course and damaged all to hell. There's a total system failure or something, shrapnel severs her tail, and she basically freezes. Floats around space for who knows how long basically in suspended animation. Probably a Saiyan could survive that... maybe?
Eventually the pod crashes into some mountains on Earth, because of course it does. Reentry and crashing basically thaws her out, but she's probably at least a little brain damaged from being frozen for however long. She doesn't come out with the sort of aggression you see typically; she's just sort of quiet and chill. (Also, she's never been very good at emoting much of anything? Besides rage when she gets to that point.)
So she stumbles around the wilderness for a bit, and that's where Ryu finds her. He basically adopts her in any continuity where she has a sensei. Call him the Hawk Hermit in this one I guess? So she gets ninja training! Eventually leaves to do whatever, meets her rowdy group of friends, and etc like normal.
And so eventually when they're all grown she'll run across the other Saiyans, because reasons. They fight! Also because reasons. Probably she knew they existed because basically everyone on Earth does by now, so she definitely has always wanted to try fighting with them, or any of the main fighters really. No one challenges her anymore. But then holy shit these guys really give her a run for her money! Like, she can keep up, but only barely. It is hella hard and so damn awesome. She loves every damn second of it. She gets whupped and it's still awesome.
So after that they get to talking (it's probably mostly Goku since he's such a chatty guy) and he's all 'Wow, if I didn't know better I'd think you were a Saiyan' and such like that, 'cause she sure as hell fights like one, even without the flying. And Priss is like '...*shrug?*' because she wouldn't know. When the tail thing comes up she mentions that she has an interesting scar where maybe one could have been at some point, maybe? No idea.
And because reasons again everyone had gotten together to summon Shenron, and I guess they have a spare wish! So after some discussion they let Priss use the spare so she can learn her origins and such. Like her friends aren't ridiculously curious by now.
I have this thought of her having the most big eyed expression because 'Holy shit I'm talking to a gigantic dragon wow' and it's actually pretty cute. So she makes the wish and there's basically a montage of her early life up to a point: her name is Aisu (because food-type names), she was indeed chucked into a pod and sent off to a random planet, and all the stuff I wrote above.
And now they know. The gang is super surprised. She has a little freak out since apparently she should be able to fly ("Can I do that? How do I do that??") and they're like midway through trying to explain it when she just. Figures it out herself and blasts off so hard she leaves a small crater. No harm done, they're in the middle of nowhere.
So that would be fine, but Becca worries that she's actually having a pretty major freakout actually. (Can't remember if I've mentioned in public post chatter or not, but Becca's empathic, and typically Priss is like an emotional dead zone for her. She only projects when she's feeling something extreme, which isn't often.) And yeah, it was only for a second, but Becca felt PANIC. She frets.
So Goku is a total sweetheart and offers to go check up on her, since he can do that instant teleportation. And it turns out Priss accidentally shot herself a good couple hundred miles away, and absolutely did not stick the landing. Usually she's pretty coordinated, but we'll chalk it up to her losing her shit. There's a slightly larger crater where she tried to land, but she's only banged up.
And she's definitely having a freak out. So they talk. It's a lot of 'hell what does this mean for me does it change anything I just found out I'm from another planet but it's gone so I'll never see it dammit I didn't care before but now that I know I kind of do care what the hell will my friends think anything different now' and general fretting. And Goku's been there, done that, and got the t-shirt, so he does his best to talk her through his own experience, and reassures her about her friends (because good friends won't care), and after a while she feels better...ish. Maybe not better, but less conflicted and freaked out about the whole thing.
So she agrees to go back, and rather than teleporting they fly back so she can work on her form and landings and all that. And of course her friends are chill about the whole thing- after all, they were already pretty sure she wasn't human; this just confirms it. Becca is definitely going to start calling her Space Princess sometimes (she's not an actual princess, just Becca's princess).
Things are fine! Priss is super down to Git Gud as she has a helluva lot of catching up to do. She's going to have a great time.
