Camp Nano!
Jul. 15th, 2013 12:03 pmRight, so I'm trying this thing. Have rediscovered that slow nights at the hotel are the best nights for any sort of Nano-ing ever how did I ever leave this job sdfghujhgfd. Set myself a dinky little goal of 10k just to see if I could manage it, what with only having 3 to 4 days a week where I can get any writing in. So far am sitting at just under 8k. May need to consider upping my goal a liiiiittle bit, haha. We shall see!

What with moving halfway across the country (again), finding a house to rent, and the husband coming home from deployment, where I have been has certainly not been at my computer writing. However! Managed to (baaaaarely) beat Script Frenzy anyway, woo! Thinking I'll be trying it again next year, see how it goes.

But mostly just been working on tweaking stuff I've already posted so at least it's not like I haven't been writing at all. Considering taking a crack at Script Frenzy, but who knows how that'll turn out. But I just might try.

Just thought I'd toss this out for no good reason.
I mentioned previously that Drew may be capable of being knocked up. It doesn't mean I'm into mpreg. In fact I don't really care for it at all. Boy'd probably end up miscarrying due to things-possibly-not-in-his-control, which would add more trauma to the already big pile of trauma he'd get just by being pregnant. Poor fishy. I wouldn't wanna do that to him.
[ETA]...Actually, he could probably only breed with a human or another Telmeri. So, given that he's pretty convinced that the love of his life is the mutant vampire, he should be safe. X3

Feel like I'm losing touch with the world a little. The fic world*, mind, not the real one. 'S weird.
Also think I've sorta lost touch with some old charas from a different 'verse. What the hell happened to Ariana? I should dig up all the old rp, I rather wish to play her again. I'd like to take her to the new Kearny board, but I've completely lost touch with her.
And then Ariana's 'verse is totally merging into Kearny 'Verse, which is partly merged with Jigsaw 'Verse (that'd be this one). At least, one version has. Jigsaw World has three different incarnations (not including AU's! XD), which makes it a bit more muddled.** I'm not quite sure where she fits in anymore. Weird... We need to reacquaint.
Also I am the King/Queen/God/Overlord of Jigsaw World. The end.

So, I've got a new chara. It's all Chibi-Aya's fault. Random creation for some rp fun, and I liked him so I'm keeping him. Whee! So...now I have 2 slayers. I'd rather like to see them get in a fight over the same kill or something. It'd be fun. Doubly interesting maybe since this n00b's a half-angel. Hell, if I've got half-demons running around it kinda makes sense, right? There'd be sparks, yo, and not neccessarily the good kind. Mwaha. I must work on developing him though. Hard to get a lot out of two short rp sessions.

I swear, the little snippet of an idea I was toying with just exploded or somethin. 4 bits long and still not finished, good grief. I'm having fun with it tho. And the random bit that just popped into my head the other night...well that needs writing too. It's so...cute, I've got an almost-sorta-kinda-affectionate-concerned Priss here. Maybe she's on crack. I dunno, it's not like her at all. Really cute tho.
Ah well. To work!

May. 23rd, 2005 02:08 amThere's this thing I really wanna write. One of those adventuring stories! Y'know, like Adventure Quest or D&D and stuff. I have a very very rough plot for one, I just need all the major points! I've got most of the characters set: Adventurers Numbers 1 & 2, friendly guideperson/love interest from [Random Village], Evil Sorceress and all that. Guess who gets to play the sorceress! XD Yeah, she's happy about the casting.
So yeah. I'm having fun with this. If I can get a plot hammered out it might be spiffy.

It's really hard to get any of this done when I have massive amounts of homework/people all around/brainspasms.
[EDIT] And I need to figure out how to write a wave of destruction. A *big* one. I figure it'd sound sorta like the noise at the beginning of FotR when Sauron imploded then everyone fell down. Like that, but louder, cuz it'd be happening in a city somewhere. Haven't decided where yet. Random City is doomed...
