Apparently I just really like to hear myself typing today? Here's some random info.

Bea's girlfriend Karen was inspired by that Cake song 'Short Skirt Long Jacket' right down to her name and how they met. She is a nurse. Her last name is Roberts and she has a younger brother named Clay. I am not sure what he does yet.

Karen flustered hardcore when they met. It was adorable.

I don't know a lot about Sanya yet, but she is definitely A Consultant of some sort. She is good and successful at her job. She comes from an upper middle-class family. Also she is totally into occult/paranormal stuff, so when she finds out Chad is a dhampir she's even more into him than she already was.

Livi might have made a deal with a demon. She was little and desperate and her brother was dead so she dealt with the first being who answered her pleas for help. That demon might be coming to collect soon.

Ivy is Vitriolic Best Buds with her second in command in the Queen's Guard, whose name is Crocus. She both irritates him for being a human existing in the fae realm, and has his mad respect for being so good at her job. Possibly it was one of his kin who switched her and Lilli in the first place.

Lilli was being slowly poisoned by living in the human realm. A few more years probably would have killed her. She still visits her friends, but keeps the trips relatively short.

Lilli's human last name is Butler, which I guess actually makes it Ivy's as well. Ivy never met her real parents and they're dead now, so she can't. The Queen is the only mother she's ever known.

Everyone sort of wondered what was to become of Ivy when their lost princess Lilli (whose place Ivy had taken through no fault of her own) returned. Hell, even Ivy was worried she might be cast out or something. But no! Lilli immediately declared her "the sister I always wanted! :D" and made clear that hell yes Ivy was still welcome because of course she was. So they're totally sisters now, and Ivy will be fiercely loyal when Lilli takes over as queen.

Taran's three masters (Yes, three. It was a Very Bad Night.) are Conrad, Michel, and Luis. Conrad is German and the oldest, like way up there as vampires go. Possibly from an ancient Germanic tribe, actually. He is not a nice person. Michel is French, possibly from around Renaissance Times, thought Conrad was Hot Stuff and was absolutely down to get vamped. They tend to be all over each other. Luis is a Spaniard from the early 1800s or so, and he was absolutely not down to get vamped. In fact he was pretty damn terrified and begged for death before they were done with him. It was a Very Bad Night. Vampirism took a little getting used to, and now he's the most depraved of the three, go figure.

In my head Luis sounds a lot like Antonio Banderas. The other two are less specific, but that's always how he sounded.

The Very Bad Shit they did to Taran is why there are now Rules for making new vampires. That happened back in the 40's, when a lot of vampires were starting to consider going public maybe, and we certainly can't go about like we have if we want the mortals to accept us. So, Rules. Like, don't murder a whole family to make one vampire, maybe? And especially don't leave the evidence just lying about for anyone to find; what are we, savages? Things like that. Said Rules are mostly followed?

So Taran is one of the youngest vampires around since creating new ones is more restricted. He found this out from a random vampire at the Function he went to with Drew. Call her Poppy. She considers herself a vampiric history buff, so it was pretty cool for her to get to meet him. Really cool, actually, considering all the crazy things she heard about the incident. Taran is both uncomfortable and unimpressed with the whole thing, but at least... something kind of good came of the whole situation? Kind of?

And so that same incident got the masters branded as criminals, pretty much. Conrad and Michel realized their mistake straight away, but dammit Luis just goes too far sometimes. He just... really really liked Taran, in all kinds of not good ways? They've since gone to ground, and haven't been seen or heard from since it happened. They may or may not ever be seen again.

And if they do turn up, and Drew meets them? If he knows who they are, and what they did? He will DESTROY THEM.
