Ok, this is weird. So it started with a guy who had some resemblance to the guy I saw on Next last night* (Cute, skinny, kinda shaggy brown hair, and kindof a jerk. But the guy in my dream wasn't a jerk.). I have no idea who he was or why I was dreaming him, but there he was. I know he wasn't me, but I did get to see from his POV a couple times. Mainly when he was in the shower, and a large-ish mostly-bald man attacked him Psycho-style. Somehow he managed to avoid getting stabbed and got away (in nothing but a towel, poor thing!). And for some reason, there was a cop right outside his....apartment? I think it was an apartment complex. And this cop was Arnold Schwarznegger. I have no idea why. And he didn't do anything about the wannabe murderer, despite the fact that he was in plain sight and the poor guy was all like "OMG that man tried to kill me!" and was scared half shitless and everything. Well, he did comfort a little, but that was it.
There was some other stuff that happened here, but I don't remember anymore. I know he wound up running into the same cop again though. And there was something involving him being chased by the same guy through some abandoned house. Maybe it got blown up afterwards. I really don't remember. Wish I did.
And then things switched completely to somewhere in the woods. There were a few bad guy types, and a couple girls, all Asian-looking. Maybe the girls knew the boy from earlier, but I don't know for sure. I seem to remember them talking with him after the attack. And anyway, these bad guys were after the girls for I don't know what reason. So there was chasing going on. I got the perspective of one of the girls for a little while, and I'm pretty sure she was me, maybe. And then suddenly I was there for real, in my Watari costume minus the wig. WTF. So I got to be chased through the woods a bit, but luckily there was three of us an only one bad guy chasing. The other two stayed behind. Then there was a river, and some really steep banks. There was a house way high up on the banks, with a crazy and redundant network of stairs and decks leading up to it. The whole thing was either old or just plain shoddily-built, because the rails were wobbling as we climbed them to avoid some of the walkways (think of the queue lines at rides). Then the bad guy caught one of the other girls, so the last girl and I were trying to talk him into letting her go. We were trying to trade him things, like a nice pin I had, and the other girl's bracelet, stuff like that. I think he was about to agree, and then we were all jumped by the half-dozen-plus dogs that lived in the house. Jumped and loved on. Then the family came down and talked to us, and we forgot all about chasing and whatever.
There was also something either before or after this bit that involved a whole lot of people hanging out, maybe camping, in a big network of fort-like things like you build for kids in the backyard. I got to climb around a lot, I remember that. And there were a few people I knew, but I don't remember who anymore.
And then the phone woke me up. The end.
*My sister was watching it, I wasn't paying that much attention.
[edit] Actually, the guy from the first bit might've been Taran. He's a shapeshifting vampire character of mine...but in the dream he wasn't a shapeshifter or a vampire, else he wouldn't have had so much trouble. He's been in my head a lot lately. Maybe it was him.
