Yeah. Pretty much part two to this post. Covers Lilli, Chad, and Lil' Max. Fairly old characters, as I was still elementary-age when they started showing up. Hurray.

Lil almost could've been put with the first bunch, but only almost. She started as Lily. Later she changed it to Lilly, then Lilli. Because she felt like it. Most people these days just call her Lil. She was someone Livi and Max had met at the orphanage/group home place where they met the rest of the original group, but she got adopted out before the rest showed up. Dropped off the map for a few years, then met back up with them due to random chance. Or fate, whichever. She started out as a fairly quiet little thing, partly because of some pretty obvious differences. Namely, she's pushing at least 20 and still looks like a small child. Guessing her adoptive parents taught her that different is okay, since she'd done a full 180 by the time she blipped back onto the map. Much, much happier. And as it turns out, she's got a good reason to still be tiny. Found out accidentally (thanks again to random chance) that she's some sort of fae, and her particular type, while human-sized, stay pretty small. Her magic didn't manifest for a while, or she would've figured it out sooner, likely. As it turns out she's actually the daughter of her clan's high priestess, and had been snuck into the human world by an overly mischievous someone. Changeling, anyone? Anyway, things make sense now and that makes her happy.

Now, Chad. Hoo boy. What started as a sort of anomaly in Max's head blossomed into a full-blown spare personality. And Chad? He was not pleased, to say the least. He had good reason, of course: he'd had a pretty good life and things were going fine, and then one day he woke up in a body a good decade too young, and had to share it with its original (and brain-damaged) owner to boot. Thanks a lot, Mysterious Folks In Van. Yeah. So he spent a good long time trying to figure a way to get out, find his body, and/or kill Max and just keep his body. Mostly he just screwed with Max's head, which is partly why the boy is mental. He has, thankfully, mellowed out a good deal, especially since they managed to get him back into his own body. The pair still share an odd mental bond, and they generally tolerate each other now.

Funny thing with mental bonds like this one is that while Chad has no telekinetic power of his own, he can weild Max's like a pro. Like, better than Max can, even. Strange that. So he's like an amplifier of sorts and has no idea why. Also, oddly enough, he could easily pass for an older Jones sibling, despite not being related to them at all. Drives him nuts on the very rare occasion he's out somewhere with Max and people ask if they're brothers. They do act like it sometimes, to be fair.

Lil' Max, now there's an odd one. I almost ret-conned him out of existance because things were so... eh. He's pretty much the 'third twin' as Livi and Max call him sometimes. As it turns out, the Jones Twins were actually the Jones Triplets, and he was left behind when the other two were taken. Who knows why. And he would've gone his whole life without knowing he had siblings, but random chance struck again, and he accidentally ran into his brother. Literally. Seeing as how they could pretty easily pass for each other, they freaked right out. So he did some investigating, snooping, questioning his mother, etc. and found out "Oh shit, these two are probably my missing siblings that I didn't know existed." Talk about a shock all around. They've all pretty much come to terms with it, which is good.

As for the names, I don't exactly remember how that happened. Maybe it's a sort of "Pete & Pete" deal, but I can't be sure. At least the boys' names don't match exactly. This one is Maxwell and the other is Maximus. I figure their parents would've used their middle names if calling them both Max turned out to be a problem, which it would've. So they were almost Jonathan and Lee. So sometimes he's called Lil' Max by the gang (he's the youngest of the Trio so it makes sense), and sometimes Livi calls him Runt. There's a joke that he was the runt of the litter, which is ironic since he's bigger than both his siblings, but not by much. Anyway the name issue is mostly negated since he's started answering to Maxwell more often. And go figure, despite being a Jones he doesn't have any magical or mental powers at all. However! For whatever reason he's completely immune to magic. Any spells cast at him just bounce right back at the caster, which isn't so great if it was a harmul spell. Hell, he's figured it out well enough that now he can aim where the spells go, actually. Pretty interesting, and very handy in certain situations.

And there we go. More random trivia for the win. ^_^
